About My Sustainability Mission

My interest sustainability began in my youth. Cosequently in my  early 20’s I majored in Environmental Studies and minored in Economics.  A couple of years later I obtained a master’s degree in Biology. For years afterwards I taught random people how to be more sustainable.  Then about a decade ago my dad suggested I start a blog.  This blog is the result of his recommendation.

I believe that changes-both big and small are necessary to save our  planet.  Big changes need to occur at the industrial and political level. Small changes with individual households also need to transpire. Together these changes should yield a sustainable future. I divided my posts into three categories. These include: climate change, home and yard.  Thus, climate change posts discuss the sustainable big picture.  Moreover, home and yard posts discuss small picture suggestions. Together these changes can create a sustainable world in which all creatures thrive.
